As I arrive a Coca Cola sign on the right sits above a long walkway, which I cannot access. I keep walking, looking right and left, but still nobody appears. The clock reads 16 minutes to 4 above the shop guide, a grid of photographic images of plates of food. As I pan across I arrive at a glass cabinet. Inside there are 4 objects, but I cannot tell what they are. I can read the text ‘Good design award’.

As I walk towards the large glass windows at the end of the space I reach the letter P. People gather. The airport is no longer empty. One step back and the people have gone. Japan Airlines. Sky Check in. Empty desks.
